Healing Ministries

C.A.R.E., Inc.
C.A.R.E., Inc. is a national organization and strives to be informed of the most recent developments in the treatment of ritual abuse. We believe that one recent method showing the most promise for successful healing involves intensive counseling (6-40 hrs per week). C.A.R.E. would like to help with funds for clients who cannot afford the cost of intensive therapy but who meet the specific criteria for this intensive work. When survivors are able to heal from their abuse, many of them have been important resources in helping other survivors heal and they become productive members of society again. Healing needs to be made available for all socio-economic groups. This website has great articles.

Freedom in Christ Ministries
An international, interdenominational ministry which exists to glorify God by prayerfully and strategically equipping and resourcing churches, Christian organizations and mission groups, in keeping with the Great Commandment in order to accomplish the Great Commission. One of the major purposes of Freedom in Christ Ministries is to help individual Christians, churches and ministries resolve their personal and spiritual conflicts through genuine repentance. This requires a whole answer which takes into account the reality of the spiritual world, personal responsibility, the authority of Scripture, and the work of the Holy Spirit who will bring conviction and lead us into truth which will set us free.

Mercy Ministries
Girls between the ages of 13 and 28 are admitted with such life-controlling problems as drug and alcohol abuse, unplanned pregnancies, suicidal tendencies, eating disorders, fear and depression, problems related to past abortions, lesbianism, and physical and sexual abuse. Occasionally exceptions are made concerning age requirement, and the length of stay is determined case by case according to the severity of the problems. The average stay is six months. Unplanned pregnancy is met with an in-depth program designed to meet the needs of any young woman, regardless of age. Group classes educate girls about options available to them and explore the pros and cons of single parenting versus adoption. Each girl is allowed to make her own decision about her baby. Adoption services, available through Mercy Ministries of America's own adoption agency, are provided upon request. If the choice is to parent the child, the girl receives special training in health care, nutrition, parenting skills, child care, and domestic training. To qualify, each girl must have a willing heart. Mercy Ministries is provided free of charge, and girls come voluntarily because they have a strong desire to change their lives. Mercy Ministries provides the opportunity for that change by encouraging each girl to experience the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Mercy Ministries of America P.O. If you are going to work with ritual abuse survivors, you must also get educated if you want to be effective. And you must learn to be humble. Trauma survivors do not need to be around ignorant, modern-day Pharisees. Survivors in pain need people who will connect with them on an emotional level, get right down in there where they are, and listen. --Kathleen Sullivan
